curiosity

There is a saying that curiosity killed the cat. But that is a lie. Curiosity got framed.
A man once told me that people don’t get old because of their age, but because they stop being curious.  I think he’s on to something. At a certain point in life we don’t seem to care anymore. And I guess that will be the time when our brain starts to get old.

Yet there are still so many wonders left to discover. So many questions remain unanswered.
Modern technology makes it easy to get answers, but those are often put in generalizations and bite-sized (pre chewed) information. Things easy to swallow, aren’t always good for you.
There is an alternative, it may cause you a bit of discomfort in the beginning, since you aren’t used it anymore, but it’ll provide many opportunities. My homework for you today: be inquisitive, be curious. Every question you blurt out can lead to an interesting story. Then focus on the person who answers. Listen, really listen. Stay young and annoy the heck out of your fellow people by asking those why-why-why-questions that kids seem to spew all over their environment.
