fool me once

Hi there,
No blog for you this time. No! I won't allow it. You wouldn't take it serious.
Why? Oh now you start asking me those why-questions ?
Because it's april fool's day. You wouldn't believe me if I told you something today.
Then again... there seeps truth out of a fool's mounth, more than we think.

Okay okay, I'll post a message. No need to flash me those puppy-eyes.
Urgh. Just don't come complaining if this message will be a bit incoherent.

Are you sometimes  stuck in a rut? Go outside. No matter where you go; old places, new places, they can do amazing things with your mind… Just allow your thoughts flow without taking too much heed of them. We have amazing abilities to connect the dots, if we aren’t over-thinking them.
So that’s why when you get distracted by sights, nature or people, your subconscious thought process won’t be biased by the mood you’re in.

Not only will new places provide you interesting thoughts. If you really start listening to people, you might also discover brilliant ways of thinking. A lot of us have a unique way of seeing things, but too often we remain silent, only tuned in to dull conventions. And even if we open up, do you actually listen? Next time just tune in to it. Who knows what you’ll discover.  Every persons knows something you didn’t know (yet).

About a week ago, I was talking to a coworker who used the philosophy behind  English boxing to get his administrative work done.  Wow, I’ve never thought about that. It was an interesting way of spending the lunch break, just listen  to him unravel his way of thinking. And you know what? He is not the only one. Everyone has his or her unique way of viewing life, the world…  The possibilities, the things we can discover  are unlimited, if we just live in the moment, once every while.

  1. Dear Writer,
This indeed is a great blog. But i have a question!
You have mentioned several ways of saving oneself from the "situation" and most of them do work.. so thanks. But which is the first one that comes to your mind in such circumstances.
    From a curious reader !

  2. hey there, anonymous. Thank you for the praises.

    An answer to your question.

To be honest the first thing I do is to numb out the thoughts with an easy brain killer: videogames. Probably not the answer you expected (and probably not the best solution). But this I use to clear my mind at first. And everybody has some sort of a habit (good or bad) to become distracted from the problem. Of course this is just phase one. Phase two would be: finding a way to tackle the problem or to look at it without taking up that habit. How long it takes before you go from phase oen to phase two is completely up to you.
I hope this clears up your question. If not, feel free to keep on asking your questions.
